I am a Computer Science Teacher with an endorsement by the State of Tennessee k-12. I am a lifelong learner still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up.  Working backwards... I have a Masters Degree +30. Those 30 were achieved when I got my Certificate in Assistive Technology from the University of Illinois-Chicago. I got a Master's Degree from Lipscomb in Instructional Leadership and Administration and Supervision. I have a B.S in Music Therapy from Tennessee Tech University and continue to be a Music Therapist-Board Certified. In 2023 I was named a Blue Ribbon Teacher by the Nashville Public Education Foundation and in 2024 I was honored to be featured in the CSforAll National Teacher Week Celebration. In December of 2024, I was honored to receive the Computer Science Excellence Award given by the Tennessee STEM Innovation Network.

I have a love of all things Disney but especially Disney Cruising, living in the country (I live about an hour outside of Nashville, Tennessee), internet shopping, and figuring things out.
